Environment Control is hiring our next long-term General Ledger Accountant to join our family. This is a rare opportunity to join our accounting department, which has an average tenure of 15+ years. This opportunity will involve daily communication with fellow accountants and owners.
Minimum Requirements:
A four-year accounting degree and/or equivalent experience, including 5 years of general ledger experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position.
Skills Required:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply basic algebra and GAAP concepts to help solve accounting problems-strong computer skills, including comprehensive understanding of Excel. Strong verbal and written skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Approve AP to ensure proper coding
- Detail-oriented financial reports, ledgers, and financial documents
- Audit assistance
- Preparing taxes
- Review financial information with managing owners.
- The starting pay is $28 - $30/hour, with the opportunity for increases as you grow in the position.
