The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
