What You'll Do:
As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in our financial operations by:
  • Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Posting General Ledger entries for insurance, interest accruals, and property taxes.
  • Managing invoices, credits, and debits in the ledger accounts.
  • Reviewing and balancing assigned accounts monthly.
  • Handling daily banking transactions, including cash concentrations, auctions, and vendor payments.
  • Preparing over-on-payoff and rollover transactions weekly in Account Manager.
  • Producing and reconciling financial statements for internal real estate companies in QuickBooks.
  • Assisting with other accounting functions as needed.

What You'll Bring:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business or 1-3 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Great Plains and QuickBooks software.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • A valid driver's license with minimal moving violations in the past three years.
  • The ability to adapt and prioritize tasks as business needs arise.
