Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Prepare and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Manage the General Ledger, including journal entries, adjustments, and account analysis.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare financial statements and reports.
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audit preparations, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction industry.
- Strong expertise in monthly close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and General Ledger management.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
