Key Responsibilities

Tax Preparation Services


  • Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Advise clients on tax planning strategies to maximize savings and ensure compliance.

  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and communicate relevant updates to clients.



General Accounting Services


  • Provide bookkeeping services, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.

  • Assist local businesses with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.



Client Engagement


  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial needs are met with professionalism and accuracy.

  • Provide support and guidance to clients during audits or financial reviews.

  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and provide expert advice on financial matters.



Team Collaboration


  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and systems.



Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting and tax preparation, preferably in a public accounting setting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and tax preparation software (e.g., Drake, ProConnect).

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
