Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a knack for problem-solving and multi-tasking? Join our dynamic Financial Services Department as we undergo exciting changes to our accounting practices! Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in monthly accounting and closing processes by generating journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and reviewing general ledger accounts.
• Support various audit activities, including PwC, Internal Audit, and DCAA.
• Research and implement new accounting practices and ensure compliance with Laboratory policy and Federal regulations.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and support financial system upgrades. Qualifications:
• Security Clearance: Minimum of Interim Secret, Active Secret or higher preferred
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, financial analysis, and GAAP accounting.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP ERP. Preferred Skills:
• Experience with computer-based financial management tools.
• Familiarity with DCAA/DCMA audits and FAR/DFARS regulations.
• Process improvement experience. An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
