Our client is looking to bring on a Staff Accountant to join the team. The individual will be processing, reviewing, and sending invoices to costumers, reviewing account statements, ensuring timely completions of financial close tasks, and assisting with any other things the Accounting department may need help with.

Description
  • Process, review, and send invoices to customers
  • Review statements of accounts. Follow up with customers on any delinquent invoices
  • Review and manage billing processing procedures on an on-going basis and bring attention to any issues regarding accounting, business procedures and/or finances
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial close tasks assigned
  • Responsible for weekly cash disbursement to vendors
  • Assist with gathering necessary account information and documents to perform annual audits
  • Assist with processing weekly payroll in Paycor
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Controller

Profile
  • 0 to 5 years' experience in accounting, financial, analytical, or auditing fields
  • Must possess strong analytical, communication, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully manage relationships with customers, company executives, operational staff, sales staff, and co-workers
  • Skilled at establishing and working collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic team environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and experience with software systems
  • Associates degree in finance, accounting or related area required
  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, or related area preferred
  • Experience with Epicor, Paycor and manufacturing a plus
