- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial information in accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial records.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Reconcile and file monthly Sales Tax returns
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel - Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies
FULL TIME: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
BENEFITS: Eligible after 60 days of Employment
PAY: $60,000/year
