Multi-line Insurance - Sr Tax Accountant
Remote - with intermittent travel to Corporate, 100% paid for
Midwest multi-line insurance carrier will hire to replace an internal promotion. Carrier is open to consider those prospects with 1 to 2 years of federal and state tax. Experience working in an insurance carrier's Corporate Tax Unit would be a plus, but not required. We're looking for someone who wants to grow their career in Corporate Tax and who has an eye for accuracy and investigation. Great mentorship
RESPONSIBILITIES
Will assist in federal and state income tax compliance, research and analysis
Will assist in resolving tax issues
Will prepare premium tax returns
Will prepare quarterly tax payments
REQUIREMENT
Requires current/recent insurance tax accounting experience, either P&C or Life/annuity
4-year degree
US GAAP (ASC 740)
SSAP (101) experience is preferred
