Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Senior Financial Data Analyst. Position Functions:
Support managers and program staff in compiling and analyzing data to assist with budget formulation, execution, and reporting.
Coordinate with program offices and managers to compile data for Congressional budget justifications and financial reporting to senior management.
Assist in the development of responses to budget inquiries from internal stakeholders, senior managers, and external entities like OMB and Congress.
Conduct financial analysis using tools such as Excel and Power BI to generate reports and presentations that track financial performance, expenditures, and obligations.
Perform financial forecasting, variance analysis, and historical data review to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Job Requirements
7+ years of experience in financial data analysis, budget formulation, and government budget processes.
Experience using data tools to analyze financial systems, perform variance analysis, and generate actionable insights for budgeting and forecasting.
Proficient in generating reports, data visualizations, and presenting financial metrics for both internal and external stakeholders.
