As a Plant Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and financial activities, including:

• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Cost Accounting: Manage and analyze product costs, including direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and valuation, ensuring accurate records and minimizing losses.
• Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain variances between actual and budgeted performance, providing actionable insights to management.
• Month-End Close: Assist in the timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

As a Plant Accountant, you will:

• Work closely with plant management to provide financial support and decision-making insights.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage financial data and generate reports.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
