• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a cardiovascular clinical environment.
• Experience and knowledge of biomedical products related to Cardiology and Cardiovascular procedures required.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Data Analyst RN Cardiovascular is responsible for assuring efficient data collection, modifying and implementing appropriate data collection tools, maintaining current and comprehensive knowledge of data collection with data abstraction for completeness and accuracy to ensure integrity of Cardiology Registries. The RN coordinates activities between both divisions to assure timely abstracting of records within the required reporting and accuracy rate parameters. This position also participates in data audit process to improve patient safety and outcomes.
This position monitors external data bases involving reportable data and assures timely data collection and reporting.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts while demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years' experience in a cardiovascular clinical environment. Experience and knowledge of biomedical products related to Cardiology and Cardiovascular procedures required. Ability to be self-motivated and work independently required. Proficiency in Clinical applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately. Proficient skill set will be required for this position within 30-60days from date of hire or transfer.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the competencies as listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires desk/computer work a majority of the time. This position requires some standing and walking and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds required.

Position reports to department leadership and supervises incumbents as assigned.
