CGP: Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $38 to $57 per hour.

Job Description:

• Generate weekly vendor check runs, analysis of A/P and unvouchered subledger
• Daily invoicing of shipments, submit invoices to customers, daily processing of cash receipts
• Collections and processing of prepayment and credit cards, oversee credit holds
• Analysis of all past due invoices and assist in collection activities, maintain reconciliations and transactions
• Month-end closings, year-end closing, and account reconciliations
• Responsible for entire payroll process

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, written and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of various computer programs including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
