CV Resources has partnered with a multi-national construction firm on the search for a Senior Corporate Accountant. The Senior Corporate Accountant will oversee financial accounting activities for multiple entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, executing quarter-end and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, and managing fixed asset accounting.

Essential Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage financial accounting for multiple entities, including job profit calculations, account reconciliations, and accrual entries.
- Consolidate Joint Ventures and eliminate minority partner activity in financial reporting.
- Handle fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation for tax and book purposes.
- Administer construction insurance charges and vendor payments.
- Support annual financial audits and project-based contract compliance audits.
- Coordinate resolution of cost coding issues with accounts payable.
- Provide timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-train and provide backup to other accounting staff.
- Support departmental projects and data requests as required.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment while maintaining quality work.
- Strong multitasking skills and effective collaboration across departments.
- Proactive team player with adaptability and ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional accounting experience.
- Experience in construction or related industries preferred.
- Proficiency in JD Edwards Enterprise One or similar ERP software preferred.
- Prior experience in fixed asset accounting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
