JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Data Analyst will support and assist a team of analysts in performing analytics. This role involves refining requirements, collaborating with staff, and developing Tableau and Power BI dashboards, as well as recurring plug-and-play reports. The supporting data models will pull data from various sources, including legacy Excel models/data sets, SharePoint lists, SQL Server databases, and more.
Responsibilities :
Expertly assist in providing direction and/or developing PowerBI and/or Tableau dashboards and foundational data model and transformations in collaboration with the MFS team.
Convert Legacy Excel models into Tableau and/or PowerBI models.
Provide subject matter expertise and assistance in developing PowerBI/Tableau visualization solutions based on requirements provided by MFS team. Assess requirements and analyses and make recommendations.
Incorporate the use of M365 and Microsoft Power Platform components.
Connect to multiple source data systems on varied platforms.
Create databases of legacy information and establish links to Tableau/PowerBI to create custom dashboards.
Provide the team with advanced analytics by defining and refining slicers, filters, and Legends across Dashboard reports.
Skills :
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, Excel, Access and specifically, visualization software PowerBI.
General understanding of building SQL Databases.
Keen understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.
