Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven strategies, prepare reports, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
You will be responsible for handling data exceptions, analyzing to identify root causes, providing prompt solutions, and implementing controls to maintain data accuracy by improving existing processes through automation and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources.
- Hybrid schedule, in office Tues/Wed/Thurs
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and key insights.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with departments to understand data needs and business objectives.
- Develop and implement data models and predictive analyses.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in asset management background
- Proficiency in SQL required, Python, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience maintaining data integration between data sources and core applications.
-Experience with Advent's APX, Charles River IMS, FactSet, ICE and Bloomberg strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
