Description:
Enterprise Risk Finance Technology's Global Risk Analytics team is searching for a talented, seasoned and highly motivated Business Analyst.
Programs focus on building the next generation model development and execution platform including data sourcing.
This platform will leverage a host of interesting technologies including Spark and Hadoop and utilize a unique, user-configurable, workflow-driven, model execution approach.
Programs include data sourcing as well migration of models away from existing platforms to the target platform.
This is a multiyear effort in a business-critical domain.
Global Risk Analytics (GRA) is responsible for developing analytics to support risk modeling activities across all lines of business at the Bank.
Uses include CCAR, CECL, IFRS 9 and other regulatory and management reports.
Proficiency in OO concepts and understanding of distributed web applications using REST API; Python, RDBMS (Exadata); exposure to big data framework like Hadoop.
Basic Unix OS skills and Shell scripting; Agile methodology (hands on experience in Epic and Story writing) ; experience working in Risk domain is preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience.
Understand business requirements and lead analysis and translation into technical requirements including budgeting and technical documentation
Review technical designs with the development team and ensure it meets the business partner requirements and is a scalable solution to meet longer term strategy
Key contributor in Agile routines including sprint and capacity planning, prioritizing tasks for releases, back-log maintenance
Review initial testing/analysis of implementation/results to ensure the accuracy of implementation
Ability to work with GRA business partners and development and QA teams on planning and prioritization including capacity constraints
Provide support for business partners in required user acceptance testing
Identify and manage cross project or functional interdependencies
Deliver timely and accurate weekly status reports on projects
Identify success metrics and review performance with business partners and leadership
Understanding of credit or market risk, CCAR, Macro Economics or the management of Macro-Economic data.
Familiarity with Python
Prior experience working within Global Risk Analytics Technology team and/or other Risk Technology teams a plus
High level understanding of Client Enterprise Change Standards is a plus
