Position Title: General Ledger Accountant

Location: New York, New York, United States

Description: We are offering an exciting opportunity for a General Ledger Accountant to join our team in our New York City office.

Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including prepare and post journal entries, maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Support the month-end close process, including the preparation of account reconciliations
  • Handle daily banking accounts posting and reconciliations
  • Support compliance with financial, GAAP standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with team members for interim and year-end audit
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Zero to six years of relevant experience
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Self-motivated, dependable with deadlines; able to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint (preferred)


Benefits: Salary Range- $65,000-$85,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
