IT Concepts is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Staff Accountant who is willing to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. In this role, you will collaborate with Financial Program Control Analysts, Accounts Payable, and other Accounts receivable staff to support invoicing and collection efforts. You will also assist the Controller with month-end close process and other adhocs.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable invoices in Unanet for all billing types including FFP, T&M, and CPFF as well as submit invoices to clients in a timely manner

Work closely with Program Control Analysts and the Controller to identify and solve issues related to billing

Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and follow up with clients for past due invoices

Prepare monthly recurring journal entries, assist the Controller with month-end close process, and support other adhocs as needed

Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effectively communicate across teams

Location: Vienna, VA (hybrid)

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting

2+ years of accounting experience in Government Contracting

Ability to multi-tasks with attention to details and effectively communicate with team members and clients

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience

Experience with e-invoicing portals such as WAWF, IPP, VIPERS, and TUNGSTEN

Preferred:

Experience with using Unanet accounting system
