Summary
The Schmidthorst College of Business and the Department of Accounting and Information Systems invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor, full-time, renewable academic appointment (non-tenure track). The start date is August 11, 2025.

Essential Functions
Primary teaching responsibility is accounting courses at the undergraduate and possibly graduate level, and involvement in department and college service activities is expected. Candidates will be expected to teach four 3-credit hour courses per semester.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in accounting. 5 years of professional accounting experience post Master’s degree. Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into educational practices.
Candidates must meet the College’s requirements for AACSB qualification to be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of successful teaching experience at the college level, including both graduate and undergraduate courses. A CPA designation is also preferred. Additionally, candidates should be proficient with computers and have experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system.
Candidates will be evaluated on teaching potential, their professional experience, and their potential to contribute to the programs in the Department and the mission of the Schmidthorst College of Business and Bowling Green State University.
