Amyx is seeking to hire an Financial Data Analyst to support our Department of Energy (DOE) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) in the Washington, D.C. area. Candidate will assist with processing transactions in Oracle Federal Financial Management system, reconciling data from the financial management system and external data sources, preparation and review of management and Federally mandated reporting, monitoring balances and agreements, providing financial management customer service to agency partners, and applying knowledge of Federal accounting rules, regulations, and mandates, as well as proper internal controls. Responsibilities Participating in system testing for Oracle Federal Financials, as necessary, when upgrades, new functionality, or patches are deployed that impact work area to ensure the system is working as expected
Preparing applicable portions of the Comprehensive Field Financial Report (CFFR) which identifies potential risk or issues impacting financial balances and documenting the corrective action or mitigation measures.
Prepare or review audit reports, prepared by client requests, or footnotes to support the annual DOE audit Qualifications Required: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting
Experience in Oracle Federal Financial Management system required
Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
ability to demonstrate initiative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
