As a Audit Senior Accountant with our firm, you will:
Have direct contact with commercial, not-for-profit and employee benefit plan/ESOP clients
Enjoy limited travel requirements since our current clients are located within a 90-minute drive of our office
Develop your technical skills in a variety of disciplines, including audit, tax, and advisory services
Run client engagements and delegate work to staff as appropriate
Play a role in training and supervising staff
Be provided with ongoing continuing education opportunities aimed at sharpening your technical skills, as well as internal training sessions designed to help you develop a personal network of business contacts, meet with prospective clients, and cultivate referrals
Contribute to the growth and success of the firm by providing exceptional client service
Be valued as an integral part of the team
Have the opportunity to contribute to the greater good through firm-sponsored charitable outreach initiatives
Requirements
You're qualified for the Audit Senior Accountant position if you:
Have your CPA license
Possess demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in public accounting providing audit services
Have experience with audit and accounting software - Knowledge Coach/Engagement is a plus but not required
Possess outstanding attention to detail and analytical skills
Demonstrate initiative, creativity and imagination in your approach to work
Exhibit time management and organizational skills
Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of client businesses
Are a team player, establishing good working relationships with all co-workers
Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal
Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional client service and individual growth
