With your expertise, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts and financial statement prep (balance sheet).

Responsibilities:
- Post journal entries: As an Accountant, you will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions by posting journal entries. Your attention to detail and understanding of accounting principles will ensure the integrity and accuracy of our financial records
- Reconcile bank accounts: You will be tasked with reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure proper recording and identification of all financial transactions. This includes investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly
- Maintain general ledger: You will maintain the general ledger by organizing and updating financial data. This includes accurately recording revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities, and ensuring proper classification and allocation
- Prepare financial reports: Your role will involve preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Your ability to analyze and interpret financial data will provide valuable insights for decision-making and strategic planning
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting: As the Accountant, you will collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts. Your analytical skills will contribute to accurate projections and aid in the assessment of financial performance
- Ensure compliance: You will ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Your knowledge of accounting standards and regulations will help maintain accurate financial records and mitigate any potential risks
