- Competitive Compensation: Salary range of $85,000 to $105,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accounts are balanced through reconciliations and accurate recording of financial transactions via journal entries.
- Oversee prepaid expenses, ensuring they are tracked and allocated to the appropriate accounting periods.
- Collaborate closely with the Controller across all entities to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations.
- Recognize revenue in accordance with GAAP, particularly using the percentage-of-completion method, including calculating and reporting project completion percentages.
- Generate and deliver daily financial reports and insights to managers to support decision-making and inform them of project and company performance.
- Identify and implement automation solutions to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience is essential.
- Public Accounting: Preferred experience in public accounting, particularly with clients in construction or manufacturing sectors.
- Self-Starter: A proactive individual who understands deadlines and holds themselves accountable for their work.
