Key Responsibilities of the Grant Accountant:

  • Manage balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.
  • Provide payroll and grant accounting support as needed.
  • Process Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Execute month end close activities.
  • Post journal entries to the GL.
  • Handle accrual accounting.
  • Assist external auditors, lenders, and investors.
  • Administrative Tasks: Organize documents, file, and perform other office duties as required.


Qualifications of the Grant Accountant:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years in full-cycle accounting in a non-profit.
  • Payroll experience.
