Job Description
Reporting to the VP, Finance and Strategy, this role will focus on the transactional accounting requirements of the North America Region, while also supporting the global finance business as necessary.
Responsible for the timely and accurate review of NA Payroll.
Act as the back up payroll specialist as needed.
Responsible for posting of payroll journals and monthly reconciliation of payroll accounts.
Other ad hoc payroll tasks and reporting as required.
Assist with day to day NA accounting tasks.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on transactions, analysis, internal controls and processes.
Other transactional tasks as necessary.
Timely and accurate completion of month-end tasks, including completion of relevant balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in preparation of monthly variance analysis.
Assist in other ad-hoc month end and reporting tasks as required.
Assisting with state level tax obligations and gathering of reports/information for filings.
Collaborating with the payroll specialist to ensure compliance with state payroll tax requirements, and necessary reconciliation.
Collaborate with Sr. Financial Accountant and Registered Agent to timely provide necessary documentation for annual registration filings.
Responsible for posting of relevant journals and the reconciliation of assigned tax accounts.
Complies with the responsibilities of working for a public company
Complies with all local legislative requirements, including local statutory requirements
Adheres to company guidelines and the corporate Code of Conduct
Keeps up to date with relevant legislative requirements
Acts in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people
