We are seeking a Senior Accountant - Hybrid Remote (2 days from home/3 days in office) for our Acquisitions Revenue team who will perform detailed analysis of financial information, process documentation, technical accounting research, problem solving, and make recommendations for improvements in reporting and processes. The Senior Accountant will also perform routine functions within the department including, but not limited to, preparing and recording general ledger entries, assist in completing monthly financial processes, overseeing completeness and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, and perform due diligence for acquisitions.
Your Impact:
The Senior Accountant will:
Become the subject matter expert for topics such as acquisition accounts receivable and revenue
Lead due diligence efforts for revenue and receivables
Execute revenue and accounts receivable special projects in conjunction with team supervisor
Maintain the Patient Refund subledger for acquisitions
Resolve posting errors and account reconciliation variances
Identify and participate in process improvement opportunities
Prepare accurate and timely reconciliations of certain key accounts receivable and revenue accounts
Prepare monthly journal entries, flux analysis, and ad hoc reporting
Contribute to various aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and year end close process
Assist in fulfillment of external and internal audit requirements
Provide support on ad-hoc projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA is a plus)
Minimum 5 years of related experience
Preferred:
Experience in Oracle Cloud Systems
Experience in mergers and acquisitions
Experience in the medical/healthcare industry
