Deloitte Government and Public Services ("GPS") Advisory LLP advises clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud. Our GPS Advisory Investigations and Intelligence ("I&I") practice provides investigative expertise to analyze events, people, entities, and financial data to extract relevant insights for our federal clients' mission-critical needs. Responsibilities: The Deloitte professional will provide support to our Federal Government client with prescription drug investigation data analysis, dashboarding, and process improvement support, including: Maintain and enhance a suite of dashboards and data pipelines supporting strategic and investigative efforts.
Regularly develop new dashboards and pipelines that reflect the latest analytical requirements of the client.
Identify opportunities for automation within existing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline data collection, processing, and other reporting tasks.
Collate and combine client data (100M+ rows) to effectively and efficiently produce thorough analyses supporting client needs.
Design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models to support lead development amongst entities.
Train client personnel on the use of dashboards and developed analytical tools.
Promote team-wide adoption and effective utilization of these tools through comprehensive training sessions and ongoing support.
The role requires two+ days a week of on-site support in Arlington, VA. Required: Bachelor's degree in quantitative field is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role.
Must have 5+ years of professional data analytics experience using Excel, Power BI, or other analytics software
2+ years of manipulating data
Experience with Python and Power BI
Strong strategic communication skills to include presenting quantitative concepts in easy-to-understand formats and actively listening to identify business problems and their causes.
Experience with creating data visualization concepts to better represent insights and communicate complex quantitative concepts to non-technical audiences.
Willingness to travel and flexibility to commute to clients in the DC metro area as needed is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred: Experience in Law Enforcement, Healthcare, and/or Prescription Drug Policy is strongly preferred.
Masters degree in quantitative field highly preferred
Demonstrated experience in big data analysis, data visualization and data pipelines.
Demonstrated experience with SQL Database Administration and/or SQL Programming.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,398 - $140,663.
