What you will do
Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy statements, and other SEC filings as required.
Manage all consolidation/disclosure files and related supporting documentation
Manage Workiva, Beacon's financial reporting tool
Provide comprehensive audit support and manage gathering of required information for both external and internal auditors
Assist with equity accounting and equity plan administration on Shareworks platform
Assist with SEC disclosure research, as needed
Maintain process and control documentation for SOX compliance
Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting packages and presentations
Analyze financial reporting processes and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of deliverables
Ad-hoc reporting and special project assistance, as needed
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
Minimum 3+ years of relevant Accounting and SEC reporting experience
Big 4 audit experience, preferred
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (or actively working towards licensure)
Familiarity with a variety of financial accounting concepts, processes, and procedures
Diligent organizational habits with a detail-oriented focus on producing high quality deliverables
A background in project management and the ability to multi-task
Problem-solving acumen with an ability to see through complexity and exercise sound judgment
A creative, analytical mind with a strategic focus and a willingness to help drive change
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general comfort with financial software platforms
