Overview:
Future Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our winning team. FTI is a proven, employee-focused provider of mission-critical information systems and technical support services to government and private sector organizations worldwide. We support a wide range of professional, information technology (IT), and intelligence services, which includes acquisition, procurement, financial, international, and foreign military sales support services for the Department of Defense. Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Process accounts payable vouchers and payments to vendors
Prepare semi-monthly payroll, conduct timesheet reviews, and process leave
Calculate monthly billings and develop supporting schedules as required by the contract
Facilitate approvals for vouchers, expense reports, and invoices
Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and coordinate collections with customers
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure subledgers tie to the general ledger
Support bids and proposals by pulling supporting documentation to substantiate cost estimates
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Collect and provide information for audit inquiries
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience :
Three to five years' experience
Government contract experience a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with Deltek Costpoint a plus
US Citizenship, Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person required. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information. Having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
