Walsh is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Accountant to support our Corporate Accounting Department in Irving, Texas.

Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate corporate income tax return compliance
Prepare corporate tax income work-papers and identify book to tax differences and tax opportunities
Work with outside providers on quarterly estimates, extension, and income tax provision
Research corporate income tax opportunities and share findings with the department
Assist on implementation and execution of corporate tax incentives, including working with different internal groups and departments to ensure proper implementation
Research implications of tax law changes on the corporate structure and build tax scenarios
Timely preparation of joint venture tax returns and distribution to appropriate outside/internal parties
Collaborates with outside tax consultants on special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
CPA preferred
Previous construction industry experience preferred
4+ years of income tax experience preferred, minimum 2 years of specialized experienced required
Strong Excel skills
Ability to communicate well in writing and in person
