TNP is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in the Fort Worth, TX office. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks to support our operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. Requirements
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Assist in the monthly and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review
Support auditors by providing documentation and assistance during audits
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Assist with Excel and Power BI report creating, troubleshooting and training
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
10 years of accounting experience preferred
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power BI
Understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
