Mark III Construction is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for our corporate office in Sacramento. The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling financial transactions, statements, records, and reports. This position will report to the Controller.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
Provide financial reports to division managers and leadership team which include month end P&L reports and any ad-hoc reports as needed
Produce financial reports in accordance with internal and external requirements
Perform complex financial analysis including cash flow projections and work in progress reports
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial system entries
Collaborate with the accounting team
Qualifications:
CPA preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
Experience working in the construction industry preferred
Advanced proficiency in excel
Ability to work with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Sage or Viewpoint background preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and analytical with assigned work
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and credit check
