Position Overview: As an Accountant, you'll manage the company's financial operations, specializing in construction-specific accounting processes including certified payroll and minority reporting. You'll work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial operations in QuickBooks Online (A/P, A/R, credit card transactions)
Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Execute certified payroll processing and minority reporting requirements
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Implement and optimize accounting processes for maximum efficiency
Work independently while adhering to established procedures and best practices
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Accountant or similar role
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, required
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Self-motivated with a growth mindset
Proven ability to multitask
Preferred Skills:
Procore software experience
Experience in the construction industry
Experience with certified payroll and minority reporting
Construction-specific compliance knowledge

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
