Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position will be responsible to support the financial and accounting duties for Constellation PowerLabs LLC. The individual will work with vendors and supply to create contracts for services related to the business, perform invoicing, cash collections and applications, assist with monthly financial close by creating journal entries and account reconciliations. This position will be responsible for meeting all Constellation finance and accounting requirements along with advising PowerLabs management on financial decisions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Primary Duties and Accountabilities 1 Work with vendors and supply to create the vendor account (if needed), issue related contracts and ensure CPA creation. 30% 2 Perform accounts receivable functions such as invoicing, cash collections and application as well as maintain customer relationships as they pertain to accounts receivable. 30% 3 Maintain and improve upon the work Management System for Constellation PowerLabs that provides multi-level, periodic reports of expenses, revenues, profit and loss, and cash flow for business operations that reconciles to the Constellation general ledger. 20% 4 Provide guidance to Admin support staff as it relates to purchasing, credit card reconciliation and maintenance of purchasing module in the work management system 10% 5 Maintain and establish, as needed, standard policies and procedures to ensure financial accountability. 5% 6 Assist with monthly financial close, including journal entry creation and account reconciliation 5%
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in finance/accounting and or related field Or 2 - 5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with financial accounting software, as well as excel Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated communication skills, problem solving skills and business acumen along with excellent computer skills.
