Responsibilities:
Working within self-employed individuals, business owners and owners of real estate
Preparation of tax returns, extensions, quarterly estimated tax payments
Assist with creating and requesting checks and mailing federal and state estimated tax vouchers
Processes electronic filing of tax returns
Analysis of general ledgers
Reviewing and responding to notices from the IRS and state agencies
Direct client interaction
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Requirement- Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting Master's Degree highly preferred
Must be able to meet 150 credit requirement for CPA eligibility
Knowledge of or previous experience working with: ProSystem Tax or OneSource Trust Tax is a plus
Prosystem FX engagement, CCH Axcess, Microsoft office products, QuickBooks, Xero, also a plus
Ideal candidate has between 2-4 years of experience working with public accounting firms
