Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Oversee the full cycle of AP/AR functions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and prompt invoicing to clients.
  • Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Assist with budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track job costs and project profitability.
  • Review and process payroll and ensure proper allocation of labor costs.
  • Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong AP/AR experience.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with job cost accounting and construction-specific accounting software.
