Position Summary: The Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst will evaluate and document revenue recognition for go-to-market strategies and non-standard deals, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. This role also supports automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Recognition Evaluation and Documentation
Review go-to-market offerings and non-standard deals for compliance with revenue recognition policies.
Conduct ASC 606 research, draft documentation, and presentations on policy decisions and emerging topics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ensure alignment on revenue recognition policies within the revenue team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to support go-to-market initiatives.
Training & Development
Develop and deliver training on revenue recognition across the organization.
Keep the organization updated on changes in revenue recognition standards.
Audit Support
Prepare documentation to support revenue recognition during audits.
Respond to audit inquiries promptly and accurately.
Automation and Process Improvement
Support Tableau automation initiatives to streamline revenue recognition.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent preferred.
3-5 years of experience in revenue recognition, focused on ASC 606.
Strong understanding of GAAP and ASC 606 guidelines.
Experience with Tableau or similar tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic. environment.
