The Data Analyst is responsible for performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data and the implementation and adherence to APEX data governance principles to ensure that data assets are managed to secure their trust and accountability. The Data Analyst documents data policies and data guidelines and ensures data quality, and that data is use in compliance with policy and regulatory obligations. The role has accountability for managing data assets, data lineage and data access, and supporting sound data analysis.

The Work -

Data analysis, data profiling, data modeling, and data mapping capabilities.

Discovery and removal or correction of errors in data records though data cleansing activities.

Monitoring of data to maintain high-quality information around the clock.

Using tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis

Accountable for the assessment, delivery, quality, accuracy, and tracking of any production data fixes.

Responsible for defining business rules and data standards and best practices for data analysis and enrichment.

Responsible for understanding end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of a data catalog that is aligned to data assets and a business glossary for the definition and maintenance of group's data landscape including overlays with the technology landscape, end-to-end data flows/transformations and data lineage.

Partners with the data governance team to ensure solutions adhere to the organizations data principles and guidelines.

Responsible for solving data related issues and communicating resolutions with R&D and data sources.

The Must-Haves -

Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.

Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbal.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Technical expertise in data, its standardization and transformation.

Must understand data flows, data profiling, and statistical analysis.

Two or more years of SQL Experience

Experience in Supply Information Management is desirable.

Experience in programming languages like Python, R, MATLAB.

Two or more years of data quality, data analysis, and data management experience.

Experience in BI software like PowerBI or Tableau.

Experience in Snowflake is a plus.
