Volt is immediately hiring for a F/T Direct Hire Staff Accountant in Riverside, CA.
As a Staff Accountant, you will:
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
  • Prepare and process 1099 forms.
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close.
  • Prepare and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze manufacturing, inventory, and overhead data for decision-making.
  • Work with departments to gather cost data and forecast expenses.
  • Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement cost allocation methods.
  • Maintain and improve costing systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong understand of A/R, A/P, and Cost Accounting
  • 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Understand of GAAP accounting principles and procedures

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
